As the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum, members of the Christian Youths Mobilization Front (CYMF), in Bauchi State has organized a grand endorsement, solidarity and support rally for all candidates of Allied People’s Movement {APM) with Governor Bala Abdukadir Mohammed leading the aspirants.
Members of the CYMF from across the State gathered at the E4 Resort on Thursday where they unanimously declared their support for all the candidates assuring to embark on door - to - door campaign in order to mobilize voters for the general elections.
Chairman of CYMF, Andy Bature, in his speech, said that, "Today is a special day. It is a day when we have come together not merely as politicians, party supporters, or members of different communities, but as citizens who share a common dream—a dream of a peaceful, united, and prosperous Bauchi State."
He added, "I am deeply honoured to stand before you as Chairman of the Christian Youth Mobilization Front on this historic occasion of our Grand Endorsement, Solidarity and Support Rally for the candidates of the Allied Peoples' Movement (APM)."
According to him, "Leadership matters. The choices we make today will determine the future of our children, the opportunities available to our youths, the quality of education our communities receive, the state of our healthcare facilities, and the level of peace and development that our people will enjoy tomorrow. That is why we are gathered here."
He disclosed that, "After extensive consultations among Christian youths, Church leaders, community stakeholders, and supporters across our constituencies, we have resolved to publicly declare our support for the candidates of the Allied Peoples' Movement. (APM).
"Today, we proudly and wholeheartedly endorse, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, Executive Governor of Bauchi State and the Bauchi
South Senatorial Candidate of the Allied Peoples' Movement (APM). We endorse him because true leadership is measured not by promises but by performance, not by words but by results," he added.
He further said that, "His visionary leadership has delivered unprecedented investments in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, youths empowerment, and human capital development across Bauchi State. His commitment to inclusiveness, good governance, and the welfare of the people has transformed lives and inspired hope for a brighter future.Undoubtedly, His record speaks louder than any campaign promise."
Andy Bature added that, 'For these reasons, and with full confidence in his capacity, integrity, and proven trackrecord, we stand firmly behind Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed and pledge our unwavering support for his victory at the polls. We also proudly and wholeheartedly endorse the Governorship Candidate of the Allied Peoples' Movement (APM), Hon. Yakubu Adamu, PhD, and his running mate, Hon. Mahmood Babamaji."
He explained that, "Our endorsement is founded on conviction, not convenience; on competence, not sentiment.
We believe that Hon. Yakubu Adamu, PhD, represents a new generation of purposeful leadership anchored on knowledge, integrity, innovation, and a deep understanding of the challenges facing Bauchi State. His academic accomplishments, professional experience, and commitment to public service have prepared him to provide the visionary leadership required to unlock the vast potential of our state."
According to him, "In Hon. Mahmood Babamaji, we see a dependable partner whose grassroots connection, administrative experience, and passion for community development complement this vision and strengthen the ticket.
Together, they embody the values that our people seek in leadership: accountability, inclusiveness, transparency, youth empowerment, economic growth, educational advancement, and sustainable development."
He added that,"As Christian youths, we are particularly inspired by their commitment to building a Bauchi State where every citizen, regardless of religion, ethnicity, social status, or political affiliation, has an equal opportunity to thrive. We are convinced that the Yakubu Adamu–Mahmood Babamaji ticket offers hope for a better future, fresh ideas for solving longstanding challenges, and the capacity to deliver meaningful development across all parts of Bauchi State.
"It is for these reasons that the Christian Youths Mobilization Front proudly declares its total endorsement, solidarity, and unwavering support for Hon. Yakubu Adamu, PhD, and Hon. Mahmood Babamaji as the next Governor and Deputy Governor of Bauchi State," he added.
Andy Bature declared that, "Today, we are not merely endorsing candidates; we are endorsing competence over complacency, vision over uncertainty, unity over division, and hope over fear. The future is now, and that future is Hon. Yakubu Adamu, PhD, and Hon. Mahmood Babamaji."
According to him,"We equally endorse All APM Senatorial Candidates, All APM House of Representatives candidates and all APM State House of Assembly candidates most especially those representing Bauchi Central, Rt. Hon Jamilu Umar Dahiru, and Hon.
Sa’idu Yusuf Ahmed Representing Zungur/Galambi/Birshi/Miri , Rt. Hon Ahmed Abdullahi, representing Dass Constituency, Hon. Murtala Abubakar of Tafawa Balewa, and Hon. Musa Wakili Nakwada of Bogoro under the platform of the Allied Peoples' Movement."
According to him, "This endorsement is not an act of politics alone. It is a statement of confidence. It is a statement of trust. It is a statement of hope.
As Christian youths, we believe that leadership should unite rather than divide, serve rather than dominate, and uplift rather than oppress. Our faith teaches us to pray for our leaders, support what is right, stand for justice, and work for the peace and progress of our society.
He further said that, "Today, we are choosing hope over fear. We are choosing unity over division. We are choosing progress over stagnation. We are choosing development over empty rhetoric. To the Christian youths gathered here today, I want to remind you that our responsibility does not end with endorsement."
He then charged,"We must become ambassadors of peace. We must conduct ourselves with dignity. We must avoid hate speech, violence, provocation, and actions capable of disrupting the peace of our communities.
Let us remember that elections come and go, but our relationships as neighbours and citizens remain."
He further said that,"To our Muslim brothers and sisters, we extend our hands of friendship and partnership. The future of Bauchi State cannot be built by one faith alone. It requires all of us
working together in mutual respect, understanding, and common purpose. Bauchi belongs to all of us. Its progress is our collective responsibility. Its peace is our shared obligation. Its future is our common destiny."
"To our candidates, today's endorsement is accompanied by great expectations. The
people look up to you for leadership, service, accountability, and commitment to the welfare of every citizen regardless of religion, ethnicity, or political affiliation. We believe in your vision. We believe in your capacity. We believe in your commitment to move Bauchi State forward," he stressed.
Andy Bature concluded,"History remembers those who stand for what they believe in. Today, the Christian Youths Mobilization Front stands firmly and proudly with the candidates of the Allied Peoples' Movement (APM). We stand with them because we believe in a better future. We stand with them because we believe in peace.".
He added that,"We stand with them because we believe in development. We stand with them because we believe Bauchi State deserves continued progress and purposeful leadership. Therefore, on behalf of Christian youths across Bauchi, Dass, Tafawa Balewa, and
Bogoro, I hereby declare our total endorsement, solidarity, and unwavering support for all candidates of the Allied Peoples' Movement."
Also speaking, Women leader of the CYMF, Abigail James, assured that women have a very important role to play in the electoral processes because according to her, women are the majority voters.
She further assured that women will go from house to house in order to mobilize great support for the APM and all the candidates.
Also, the Youth leader of the CYMF, Aron Magaji, assured that the youths will ensure a hitch-free electioneering campaigns by not allowing themselves to be used to disrupt the processes.
He further assured that the APM as a political party will take over Bauchi State come 2027 as all the candidates are worthy to stand for elections and will win the general elections in 2027.
