A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State, Alhaji Auwalu Karfe Ningi, has donated a campaign vehicle to Senator Shehu Buba Umar, who represents Bauchi South Senatorial District, to boost grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
The donated Sharon vehicle was branded with the inscription “Mujaddadi 2027” alongside the image of the senator and the slogan “Governor, In Sha Allah,” reflecting support for his governorship ambition.
The vehicle was officially handed over to the Ningi Local Government APC Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Sarki Mai Katako, to strengthen party activities, structure, and visibility at the grassroots level.
Speaking during the presentation, Alhaji Auwalu said the donation was in appreciation of Senator Buba’s commitment to democratic development and his sustained support for the APC across Bauchi State.
He noted that in the last eight years, following the party’s loss of the governorship seat, Senator Buba has consistently extended support not only to Bauchi South, which he represents, but also to Bauchi North and Bauchi Central Senatorial Districts.
According to him, the senator’s contributions span key sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, education, employment, and security across the state.
He described Senator Buba as a grassroots politician who understands the needs of the people, adding that this positions him as a strong contender for the Bauchi State governorship in 2027.
In his remarks, the Ningi APC Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Sarki Mai Katako, commended the donor for the gesture and assured that the vehicle would be effectively utilised to enhance mobilisation efforts. He also urged party members to remain united and committed to securing victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
