A presidential aspirant in the 2023 general elections under the platform of the Young Peoples Party (YPP), Rt. Hon. Tanimu Audu, has condoled with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda over the demise of his mother.
Audu in a statement jointly signed with Sgt. Jonathan Paul, a Music Director, described the loss as a monumental, saying “it is with deep sorrow and heartfelt sympathy that we mourn the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, and matriarch, Late Mama Lydia Yilwatda, mother of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda.
“We extend our condolences to Prof. Yilwatda, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC family, and indeed all Nigerians over this great loss.
“Mama Lydia lived a life of faith, service, and love. Her legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.”
The burial ceremony will be held on Saturday, 4th October 2025, at Dungung, Kanke Local Government Area of Plateau State.
They called call on all well-meaning Nigerians to join in prayers for Prof. Yilwatda and his family during this period. May Almighty God grant him sound health, wisdom, and greater success as he continues to serve our nation diligently.
