Bauchi State Govt Pledges Support for Humanitarian Efforts

Bauchi State Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management reaffirms commitment to enhancing resilience and disaster response.

The Honorable Commissioner, Hajiya Hajara Yakubu Wanka, represented the Ministry at a high-level Humanitarian Diplomacy Workshop organized by the Nigerian Red Cross Society.

The workshop brought together stakeholders from government institutions, civil society, and humanitarian partners to discuss strategies for strengthening humanitarian coordination and protecting vulnerable populations.

The Commissioner commended the Nigerian Red Cross for its dedication to humanitarian service and highlighted the importance of humanitarian diplomacy in forging cooperation, mobilizing resources, and ensuring aid reaches people with dignity, neutrality, and efficiency.

She reaffirmed the Bauchi State Government's resolve, under the leadership of His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, to initiatives that enhance resilience, preparedness, and disaster response.
