OAIC inaugurates new women executive, urges efficiency, transparency

The Organisation of African Instituted Churches (OAIC), Bauchi State Chapter has Inaugurated the newly elected officers of the organization's Women Wing, with a charge on them to emulate virtues of love,tolerance, humility, efficiency, transparency and compassion of Jesus Christ in the discharge of their duties.

The Chairman of the State OAIC, Superior Evangelist Emmanuel Okere who performed the Inauguration of the new officers on Sunday at a well attended ceremony held at the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC),Parish II, Bauchi, admonished them to embrace honesty, truthfulness and make the welfare of the members their cardinal focus.

Okere who is also the Assistant Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bauchi State Chapter, called for the support of all members of the organisation to join hands with the new executive in order for them to succeed in their new assignment and move the OAIC forward.

According to him, "Take your new assignment seriously,be hardworking, do your duties diligently and don't forget regular reading of the Bible and prayer that have been part and parcel of our lives and characters, they should not be jettisoned." 

"No unnecessary absenteeism during your meetings and other OAIC activities. Let's be friends. But when you don't live up to expectations and are lacking in your duties,we will become enemies. But I pray it won't get to that level. We should all collectively work for the progress and growth of OAIC,he advised.

Responding on behalf of the new Executive Officers,Mrs Mary Musa Rabo, chairperson of the organisation, assured the chairman and members of the OAIC of their readiness to discharge their duties diligently.

She called for prayers for the organisation's continued growth "and for all of us to continue to move forward, from strength to strength". 

The new Exco include Mary Musa Rabo,as chairperson, Margret Ademola Ogunleye, Vice Chairperson 1 and Helen Kayode Ojo as Vice Chairperson II while Lorna SM Anuwa is the new Secretary 

 Others are Omilabu Abiodun, Assistant Secretary, Angela Okonkwo, Treasurer, Victoria Gabriel Oni,Financial Secretary, Rosemary AKa'a as PRO and Bukola Ademola, Welfare Officer.
