'Dogara's appointment shows fairness, inclusivity in Tinubu administration’

Stakeholders from Tafawa Balewa, Dass and Bogoro federal constituency of Bauchi State have described the appointment of former Speaker Yakubu Dogara as indication of “fairness and inclusivity” in the government of president Bola Tinubu. 

Dogara's appointment as the Board Chairman of the newly established National Credit Guarantee Company Limited (NCGC) was announced last week. 

The group under the aegis of All Progressives Congress APC in Dass, Tafawa Balewa, Bogoro Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, said that it commended the President for appointing their “illustrious leader” Dogara as the Board Chairman of NCGC.

The stakeholders in a statement signed by Barr. Rabiu Garba Esq. and 19 others, stated that “for Dogara to serve in this administration is not only timely, well deserved and meritorious but it reaffirms our testimony that Rt. Hon. Dogara has remained steadfast with his Party APC.

“We commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to fairness and inclusivity in this appointment. We stand ready to support his initiatives that promote equitable representation and foster national unity, so that we can build a stronger, more united Nigeria.

“We consider the recent appointment of Rt. Hon. Dogara by President Tinubu is a clear indication of his administration’s responsiveness to the aspirations of the Nigerian people. By ensuring that key positions are filled by capable individuals who can deliver efficiently amidst all challenges at critical times.”

They said that the appointment would not only enhance the effectiveness of governance but also serve to unite the country in the face of challenges that require collective action because of his wisdom and capacity.
