Appointing my humble self as the pioneer Commissioner, Governor Mohammed has demonstrated not only his trust in competent leadership, but also his deep commitment to proactive social protection and resilience-building.
"Under my leadership, the ministry has launched coordinated relief efforts for internally displaced persons, responded to natural and man-made emergencies, and empowered marginalized populations through sustainable support programs. The opportunity to lead this ministry under the Governor’s guidance is widely seen as both an honor and a call to duty in building a more compassionate and responsive state.
"As Bauchi celebrates this significant milestone, it is clear that His Excellency's tenure is defined by vision, courage, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of his people. The foundations laid over these six years have not only transformed physical landscapes but have renewed hope, restored dignity, and created lasting pathways for prosperity. This administration stands as a model of modern governance in Nigeria—one that blends infrastructure with inclusion, and ambition with compassion", penned Commissioner Wanka.
