NAPPS trains members on effective management, financial sustainability

The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) Bauchi Local Government Area, in collaboration with Mirror Leadership Initiative Consult, Port Harcourt, has organized a one-day intensive capacity building workshop on Effective School Management and Financial Sustainability.

The workshop was declared open by Hajia Binta Faruq, the Chairperson of NAPPS, Bauchi LGA, maintaining that the workshop was aimed at equipping the proprietors with best practices.

"This capacity building workshop on Effective School Management and Financial Sustainability, aimed at making school administration more robust, effective and result-oriented in line with the objectives of education.

"This workshop aims to equip proprietors with the best practices for effective school management and financial sustainability. We need it at this crucial moment of our dear country's reform in every sector."

Binta Faruq acknowledged partnership which has complemented efforts of the Proprietors in the LG saying,"We appreciate the collaboration with Mirror Initiatives, which is bringing expertise to enhance our skills." 

According to her, "We look forward to engaging discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking. We cannot afford to be left behind in the new development of school administration and management."

She then expressed thanks to the facilitators, participants, and organizers of the workshop appealing,"Let's make the most of this opportunity."

In his remarks, Alhaji Hardo Musa, NAPPS Bauchi State Chairman, commended the initiative, emphasizing that capacity building is most important in effective administration and management of schools.


He commended the leadership of NAPPS in Bauchi LGA for organizing the workshop urging other local chapters to take cue from what happened in order to equip their members. 

Mr. Eugene Chinwo, CEO/President of Mirror Leadership Initiative Consult, stressed the importance of the capacity building workshop for school administrators. 

Presenting a paper on: Strategies for Successful School administration, Leadership, Staff management, Financial Planning and Budgeting, he said are essential for standardized school administration and management in this new generation. 

There were interactive sessions during the workshop featuring engaging question-and-answer as participants made various contributions on how to effectively administer and manage schools to achieve the set goals.

As a way of feedback, proprietors present commended the leadership for organizing the workshop, expressing enthusiasm and appreciation for the valuable insights gained.

The event showcased the fruitful collaboration between NAPPS Bauchi LGA and Mirror Leadership Initiative Consult.
