Gombe NUJ chairmanship candidate pledges to support Inuwa's administration

Peter Mele, the leading candidate for the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Gombe State chairmanship, has vowed to support the state government, led by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, if elected.

Mele, a seasoned journalist with a deep understanding of the state's governance, expressed his admiration for the governor's remarkable projects and initiatives. 

He emphasized his commitment to collaborating with the government to drive growth and development in Gombe State.

Having worked closely with the state government and its officials during his time as a Government House reporter, Mele says he believes in Governor Yahaya's vision and is dedicated to supporting his administration.

Under Mele's leadership, the NUJ Gombe State council according to Mele will foster a harmonious relationship with the government, media chiefs, veterans, and stakeholders to propel the union forward. 

He added that he will tap into the experience and expertise of past chairmen, executives, and media veterans to ensure the union's progress.

He is joined by a strong team, including Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed as Secretary and Balkisu Bibi Lakuto as Financial Secretary.

The NUJ Gombe State council will conduct election for its new leaders tomorrow Wednesday, and Mele's pledge to support Governor Yahaya's administration has resonated with many members.
