Arc Simon Para Lola, over the weekend declared interest to run for Bogoro local government chairmanship ahead of 10th August election in the State.
The aspirant, Lola, said that he wanted to become local government chairman to continue to give an impactful leadership.
Speaking with Correspondents’ Watch at his Kafin Tafawa resident, Bauchi, he said that he is contesting the Chairmanship under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The PDP aspirant promised to carry out more developmental projects for his local government, if elected to represent the good people of Bogoro local government area in the August election to come.
He said that If elected as chairman, the first thing he will do is to unify the people of the area.
"If given the opportunities as local government chairman, I will make water available in all the 13 wards across the local government.”
Being a farmer, he pledged to buy fertilizer for farmers at an affordable rate for food security.
He further said that "If we have enough resources in the local government, we will be buying fertilizer and distributing it to our farmers without paying any single kobo."
As political activities hovering in the state, Lola urged his followers to work hard to ensure that he wins the tickets of the Party.
He urged the residents of the area to continue praying for the peaceful conduct of the election and also pray for the successful second tenure of Governor Bala Mohammed of the state.
