Dahiru Bauchi lauds Algerian President for granting scholarship to 140 students

A renowned Islamic Scholar Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi has expressed his sincere gratitude to the President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria,Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune for granting scholarship to 140 Students from Nigeria that will study in Algerian Universities free.

The gesture was requested by the Scholar to the Algerian President through Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi Foundation.

In an appreciation message he personally signed and sent to the President which a copy made available to newsmen, He said "Your Excellency, I wish to express my deep gratitude for your government’s generous decision to open Algeria’s universities to one hundred and forty Tijaniyya students from Nigeria.  

“This act is more than an educational gesture; it is a reaffirmation of the ideals that built Algeria’s reputation — the conviction that knowledge shared in sincerity becomes a bridge between peoples and a force for good in the world.Such leadership strengthens Algeria’s standing as a country whose influence is measured not by dominion but by dignity — a voice of equilibrium and wisdom in an age that often forgets both".

Dahiru Bauchi said "For many decades, Algeria has stood as a moral compass on our continent — a nation whose strength flows not from wealth or might, but from its fidelity to knowledge, justice, and faith. Its example has inspired generations across Africa to believe that leadership can still be guided by conscience".

The Scholar said "From this same soil rose the luminous path of Sidi Ahmad al-Tijani, may God be pleased with him — a legacy that continues to nurture hearts from the Maghreb to the Sahel, from Algeria to Nigeria. Through its scholars, institutions, and people, Algeria has kept alive a tradition that unites reason with devotion and intellect with humility."

He prayed that "May Allah in his infinite mercy continue to bless your stewardship, preserve Algeria in peace and progress, and make her always a source of light for humanity".

This is the second set of Nigerian Students that were offered Scholarship to study in Algerian Universities free under the request made by the Scholar 

Already the first set of students that were offered Scholarships by the President are about to complete their studies.
