Bauchi State First Lady, Hajiya Dr. Aishatu Bala Muhammad, on Saturday 13th September 2025, convened a sensitisation lecture and interdenominational prayer session with leaders of the Christian faith, reaffirming her commitment to peace, unity and moral revival in the state.
Held under the theme “Seeking the Face of God for Righteous Living in Challenging Times,” the gathering brought together pastors and church leaders from various Christian denominations across Bauchi.
Discussions centred on the dangers of rising social immorality, the need to strengthen family values, and the importance of interfaith harmony in building a safer, more cohesive society.
Addressing the clerics, Dr. Aishatu Bala Muhammad expressed gratitude for their steadfast role in guiding society through wisdom and prayer. She also shared a personal testimony on how faith has been instrumental in fostering a better and more compassionate community.
“As leaders, our unity of purpose and our commitment to God are critical to ensuring a society anchored on righteousness and mutual respect,” she said, urging all faiths to work together for the progress of Bauchi State.
In a gesture of inclusiveness and goodwill, the First Lady distributed food items to all pastors and participants, underscoring her belief in supporting every segment of society irrespective of religious background.
Participants commended the initiative, describing it as a significant step toward strengthening interfaith dialogue and promoting moral rebirth in the state.
