A seasoned media Consultant and a Public Affairs Analyst, Abdulrahman Sade, has described the recent allegations and blackmail levelled against the Former Group Managing Director National Petroleum Investment Management Service NAPIMS and an illustrious son of Bauchi as “most unfortunate and laughable.”
While absolving him of any wrongdoing rather he served his country diligently and efficiently Sade said the allegations are “mischievous, baseless and self-centered, infact such is not unexpected from time immemorial people intending to blame the servant of Allah in the name of 2027 Politics."
Sade alleged that the rising profile of Bala Wunti as philanthropist and his impacts on common man not only in Bauchi state but all over the country for the sake of Allah scared some ambitious politicians eying seats in 2027.
“Some of these politicians are stockpiling fake allegations, sentiments and bias to defame the already shining star, angling who ever they think is political opponents in the state, and because of philanthropic work of Bala Wunti, and his acceptance in the minds of common man they assumed Bala Wunti as Political threat hence they started to sponsor mischievous allegations against him, we will defend any Bauchi son not only Bala Wunti.
"If not, when did they realise that Wunti is corrupt? Is it before he left office or after leaving office? I have no issue over the invitation for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) to probes anyone if it's according to the laws of the land without malice but it's always unfortunate to blame any honest person that served his country with the fear of Allah and complete his job successfully.
Sade said the recent media reports and negative vituperations on Bala wunti portrayed its sponsors as those who hate the progress of people and their immediate society.
