President Bola Tinubu has reappointed Engineer Dr Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz as the Managing Director of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) for a second term.
Special adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced the reappointment in a press statement.
He said the reappointment is a testament to Abdulaziz's exceptional leadership skills and commitment to the development of Nigeria's power sector.
During his first term, Engr. Dr. Abdulaziz oversaw significant improvements in the country's transmission infrastructure, enhancing the reliability and efficiency of power supply across the nation.
His vision and expertise have been instrumental in driving the growth and modernisation of the TCN.
The reappointment is expected to further boost the company's efforts to expand and upgrade Nigeria's transmission network, ensuring a more stable power supply to meet the country's growing energy demands.
