The Initiative for Better and Brighter Nigeria (IBBN), Bauchi State Chapter, has successfully organized a novelty football match between Morning Star FC and Harmony FC all of Bauchi.

The match was played at the Morning Star Football Pitch, Tsakani Yelwa, Bauchi Local Government Area.

In his opening remarks, Elder Ambassador Abel Musa, Chairman of the State Advisory Council, IBBN Bauchi, stated that IBBN, founded by Prophet Dr. Isa Elbuba, aimed to foster a corrupt-free, united, and prosperous nation by mobilizing citizens to contribute their time, talents, and resources toward national development.

He added that the match was designed to promote and strengthen peaceful coexistence within the community.

Bauchi State Coordinator of IBBN, Ambassador Jeremiah Danasabe, urged youths to rise to their responsibilities and not allow themselves to be used by politicians for selfish interests.

The kick-off ceremony was performed by Hon Musa Saidu Samaila, State Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and the event drew a large crowd from within and surrounding communities.

IBBN posters with messages of peace and unity were displayed around the venue.

The match ended 1-0 in favor of Morning Star FC.

At the conclusion, both teams were presented with a set of training bibs, a standard match football, and a token of N10,000.

Musa Jomni, the Mainungwa of Tsakani Pada, expressed appreciation to IBBN for the initiative, describing the message of peace and youth empowerment as timely and impactful.

He called for continued engagement between IBBN and the community.
