This is contained in a statement by Elizabeth Elcom, the former Secretary, FIDA, Bauchi state chapter and made available to newsmen on Friday in Bauchi.
According to her, the new Chairperson and other elected officials had been sworn in by a Magistrate at the Bauchi state High Court 1.
“FIDA Bauchi Branch successfully conducted an election, with all candidates running unopposed.
“We are pleased to announce that the newly elected officials were sworn into office by a magistrate/ Commissioner of Oath at the High Court 1, Bauchi State.
“We pray that these newly elected officials will play a vital role in shaping the future of FIDA Bauchi Branch. We congratulate them on their election and wish them success in their new roles,” she said.
She highlighted other elected officials to include; Safiya Salihu as the Vice Chairperson, Catherine Kwaltings, as the Secretary, Blessing Esinwoke, the Financial Secretary and Saratu Haruna as the Treasurer.
Others, she said, included; Ebele Uzochukwu as the Publicity Secretary, Asabe Yusuf, as the Assistant Secretary, Halima Yusuf as the Public Relations Officer and Sadiya Saleh,the Welfare Secretary.
