The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Bauchi State Chapter, has announced that it has successfully uploaded the names of all its National Assembly candidates for the 2027 general elections to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal.

The party said the uploaded list comprises three senatorial candidates and 12 House of Representatives candidates.

In a statement issued on Thursday night and signed by the party's State Secretary, Abubakar Sani, the PRP said the successful upload demonstrated its full compliance with INEC's electoral guidelines and reflects its preparedness for the 2027 polls.

"The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Bauchi State Chapter, wishes to officially inform the general public and all stakeholders that all our candidates for the upcoming elections, comprising three senatorial candidates and twelve House of Representatives candidates, have been successfully uploaded to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal," the statement read.

According to the party, the successful upload served as a clear confirmation of its compliance with INEC's requirements and underscores its credibility and readiness to contest and win elective positions in Bauchi State.

The PRP also maintained that the judgment delivered on Thursday by the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal, which it said affirmed INEC's guidelines for the 2027 general elections, has no adverse effect on the party.

"Furthermore, we wish to state categorically that the judgment delivered today (Thursday) by the Abuja Court of Appeal, which validated the election guidelines set by INEC for the 2027 general elections, does not in any way affect or undermine our party. We have meticulously executed and concluded all our activities within the timelines revised and approved by INEC," the statement added.

The party dismissed what it described as rumours and misinformation allegedly being spread by political opponents to discredit it.

"We also wish to address and dispel any unfounded rumours, misinformation, or propaganda currently being circulated by some political loafers to tarnish the credibility and efforts of our esteemed party.

"Such falsehoods are baseless and intended to demoralise our members and supporters at a critical stage when Bauchi State is embracing the PRP and witnessing an increasing number of defectors joining our great party from various parts of the state on a daily basis," the statement said.

The PRP urged the public, its supporters and the media to disregard what it described as false narratives aimed at undermining the party.

It reaffirmed its commitment to its political agenda and called on residents of Bauchi State to support its vision ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The party said its governorship and State House of Assembly candidates will be uploaded once INEC opens its nomination portal for that purpose on July 18, 2026.
