PFN honours Bala Mohammed for excellence in leadership

Bauchi State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), has presented an award of Excellence in Leadership to the State Governor, Bala Mohammed. 

The award was in recognition of the Governor’s style of all Inclusive governance and leadership which have ensured that no segment of the society was left out due to religious differences. 

While presenting the award to the Governor at the Government House during the annual Christmas rally and homage to the Government House, State Chairman of the PFN, Pastor Promise Nuhu Yohanna, described the Governor as the best thing ever to happen to Bauchi State. 

According to him, "We in the PFN and the Christian community as a whole, have enjoyed your God sent administration, we have enjoyed peace, unity, peaceful coexistence, stability and prosperity."

Promise Nuhu Yohanna who is the Treasurer of the State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), stressed that members of the PFN, especially the Women group are appreciative of the various developments in the State. 

He assured the Governor that PFN will continue to support the Governor and his administration as well as pray for God's leading throughout the remainder of his tenure. 

The PFN State Chairman also urged his members not to engage in any ungodly activities but be focused on peace building and Godly living. 

While accepting the award, the Governor commended PFN and the entire Christian Community in the State for supporting his administration since assuming office in 2019 re-echoing that the Community played a significant role in his election. 

Bala Mohammed also acknowledged the prayers and support of the Christian community in the State especially in the areas of peace and peaceful coexistence, stressing that, the State has become a positive reference point for others.

He then reinforced his administration’s commitment to fairness and justice in the art of governance in line with the constitution and morality. 

The Governor thanked the PFN for the recognition saying that it is a motivation for him to do more for the good of the citizens of the State.
